Janina has been working at Google for 5 ½ years, first as a software engineer and more recently as manager. She leads the privacy and data protection team of over 50 engineers in Munich. Her teams work in the area of privacy infrastructure (building privacy directly into Google infrastructure and tools) and privacy consulting (lending privacy expertise to teams across Alphabet).
